Wall-E Animation Art
No one thought it was possible for Pixar to surpass Toy Story, but it has. Wall-E is both a treat for adults and pure entertainment for kids. This science fiction romance is filled with artistry, meaning and humor. Wall-E is another masterpiece from the creators of "Cars".
Wall-E is a sensitive and lonely little robotic trash compactor who was left behind after Earth was abandoned 700 years earlier. He has been methodically cleaning up the trash-ridden planet ever since. He meets Eve,who is a probe robot that flies to Earth to determine if the planet is habitable. Wall-E takes one look at Eve and falls in love.
For adults, "Wall-E" is a message about the possible negative "evolution" of man. When humans become so lazy and so fat they can't even stand up without assistance, where does the human race go?
The animation of "Wall-E" is incredible. In many scenes of the movie, especially scenes between Wall-E and Eve, you can't tell it is an animated film. The outer space scenes have the same realism as any Star Wars or 2001: A Space Odyssey movies.
Look for Pixar's signature "A113" in the movie. This is Pixar's own Hidden Mickey, and it is an important element of the storyline of this movie.
